Transform your current measurement process with Measurements International’s 6314A Precision Current Divider. Designed to replace outdated and inaccurate Current Shunts, the 6314A leverages the trusted principles of MI’s world-renowned Resistance Bridge and Extenders to deliver unparalleled accuracy.
Say goodbye to the limitations of traditional Current Shunts, which are plagued by temperature stability and power coefficient issues. The 6314A’s current transformer eliminates these challenges, allowing you to make accurate measurements with ease. Utilizing windings on the DC Current Comparator (DCC), the 6314A divides input current by 1000, with a minimum current of 150 A and a maximum current of 3000 A. Both DC and AC current can be accepted with an uncertainty approximately 20 times lower than a DC Current Shunt.
Need even greater precision? The 6314A can be combined with the 6311A for even more accurate measurements. For example, dividing up to 3000 A down to 30 mA using a 6314A and 6311A combination, and measuring with a 1 Ω standard resistor and 8 ½ digit DMM, can result in uncertainties of just a few ppm.
With a worldwide reputation for dependability, quality, and performance since 1993, MI’s 6314A Precision Current Divider is the trusted choice for all your current measurement needs.
